Hello Amy, I am a Apalachee, Decendent Of John Baptiste Vallery who was Chief for about 40 years. We lived along the Cane River area near Rapides ( Mission Indians ) from the Tallahassee, Florida area. I am married to a friend of 53 yrs we connected on facebook and loved each other since 1958. I just wanted to tell you hello and something about myself. Also would like to know about your tribe. My Grandmother was a McFerrin from Opelousas, I know there were Indians in her family but I think from Mississippi ???? I have seen you and your daughter before at Zwollie, Ebarb or at the Twin Eagles Pow Wow's, or maybe Caddo Adai's in Robeline, La. Well so long for now Friend.....
